Wendy Florence ANEA LGSM is an oracy and creative confidence coach, speech and drama teacher, and examiner. Her mission is to create confidence, nurture talent, through the teaching of dramatic skills, teaching children how to perform and encouraging them to find their voice through public speaking, undoubtedly a hugely beneficial skill for any child’s future. 

 

Wendy first became involved in performing arts as a child, first with ballet and piano lessons performing in local shows, pantos, musical festivals and taking lots of exams!  She began working as a professional singer and dancer at age 18 leading cabaret shows and working as a lead and harmony vocalist. Having gained a full Actors Union Equity card she moved into acting too performing in small parts on TV and gaining teaching qualifications with New Era Academy and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  Wendy has extensive experience as a performer and director of children’s shows and is an experienced, qualified speech and drama teacher of New Era and LAMDA and examiner for New Era Academy. Having run a stage school for 16 years directing and producing children’s shows, she is currently working at highly prestigious public schools in London as well as in private practice and examining in the UK, Europe and Hong Kong.  She remains passionate and committed to raising children’s confidence through Drama and all it's related topics: creative confidence, public speaking, verse speaking, devised drama, interview technique.....and having fun along the way!
